About
I’m inspired by the quiet and simple tranquilities found in everyday moments in life. Whether it’s a moment of stillness at a local coffee shop, or a quiet day cuddling my lab Bella on the couch, to admiring the droop of a tulip on its last phase of life.
Sometimes life can feel so noisy, so overwhelming with what “should” be, and I find my interest lies is what “is”. It’s life, imperfectly perfect, moments of subtle beauty, and gentle shifts in perspective that really spark my interest.
Through mixing oil paints with cold wax medium, my paintings are a playful, not-so-calculated approach to these moments that bring us joy. I retain texture and brush marks on the canvas which tells the story of how the painting came to fruition. Many say that my paintings also offer them a quiet place to sit, a gentle reminder of the subtle beauty in life.
