I had a lovely time at the 2024 Cabbagetown Arts & Crafts festival here in Toronto. It was my first year participating, as well as my first outdoor tent event (which I was a little stressed about!!). Luckily, we only had a little bit of rain and it seemed to hold off until after the show was over, phew!
It was a lovely event, very well organized and everyone was so friendly! I actually won a third place prize for my booth and my artwork, which I didn't know was something they did but really made me feel like part of the community, and appreciated for my efforts in my preparation for this show.
The rest of the weekend was so lovely, I sold lots of little journals I had made a long time ago with my illustrations on them, some art prints and several paintings (yay!).
I met lots of lovely people, many of whom had told me they hadn't seen an art style like mine before, which was very reassuring!
Here are some of the paintings I sold during the show. I was a little sad to let my sheep go, but happy they found a home!
Until next year, Cabbagetown!
